Gone to Greener Pastures picked up a gelding I had boarded with me after the owner made the tough decision to euthanize. I cannot say enough good things about the kindness and compassion Mike had. He was professional but also kind. The kind of person that makes you feel comfortable with the situation especially under the circumstances. They were easy to communicate with and very punctual. Last year, we used Gone to Greener Pastures for removal/burial services after losing our sweet senior gelding. They were very responsive and accommodating and their kindness went a long way on a difficult day.
We recently moved from NC to FL and I was excited when I learned Mike and Robin also offer transport services. As with our previous experience, they were great to work with. Their rates are very reasonable and they answered all of my (many) questions ahead of time. They were super helpful with loading our ponies and goats and ensured I was comfortable with how everyone was set up before they hit the road. I received multiple updates along the way and everyone arrived safe and sound.

My 29 year old TB declined rapidly over a weekend (which I was not prepared for- no one really is prepared). He was my world for over 17.5 years and I had the hardest time making that call to find someone to take him. I reached out to Robin, on a Sunday afternoon, and she answered the phone !!!
She updated me along the way during her 3+ hr trip to my home. She was compassionate, accommodating and (for someone who doesn’t have endless funds) reasonably priced .
Aussie was a king and he deserved to be treated like one until his final resting place. My vet, Summit Equine, informed me they were very gentle and patient with him as I couldn’t watch him leave my home.
